3. Voice for Beginners

Songs interpretation and diction (Cantonese, Mandarin, English, German, French, Italian) and acting coaching are also included in this course. This course applies to students of all ages.

Basic Music Theory + Vocal Warm-up Exercises + Basic Practical Training (Songs + Diction Coaching + Acting Coaching). Genres including: Broadway Musicals, Opera (Italian, German, French), American Pop, Canto/ Mandarin Pop, Chinese folk.

4. Voice (ABRSM Grade Examination)

5. Trial/ Group Voice Lessons (2-3 people)
It is a Group Course for Max 3 students to warm up together, but have their own learning time spot. Lessons always finish with a performance practice in front of all members.

About:
Group Vocal Warm-ups + 15/min each Practical Training (songs learning and coaching) + Performance Practice.
*Course starts when all 2-3 spots are filled up.
*Course applies to students of all ages.
*A 2 people course is a lesson of:
15 min warm-up + Student A: 15 min + Student B: 15 min + 15 min Performance Practice
*A 3 people course is a lesson of:
15 min warm-up + Student A: 15 min + Student B: 15 min + Student C: 15 min + 20 min Performance Practice
Trial course is only offered to interested party once.
Dr. Helena Yip: Voice/ Piano Make-up Lesson/ Consultation Policy

1. Please do not come to lessons if you are sick or contagious.
2. Instructor will reschedule up to 6 lessons per student, per year: 4 make-up lessons for sickness, emergency, or mandatory school functions, and 2 make-up lessons for vacations during the summer months of June and July.

3. Students are required to notify their instructor of summer vacation dates at least 24 hours in advance in order to receive a make-up lesson.
4. Instructor will offer to make up a missed lesson on no more than 2 separate occasions; if a student is not able to attend offered make-up lessons, the make-up is forfeit.
5. If a student does not show up for a scheduled make-up lesson, the make-up lesson will not be rescheduled, with the exception of sickness if advanced notice is given.
6. Instructors are NOT able to offer make-up lessons for lessons missed due to Fall Break and Spring Break vacations, however, instructors may be able to swap lesson times with another student in their schedule if advanced notice is given.
7. Lessons cancelled by your instructor will be made up within 1 month.
8. In case of mandatory school functions, a 24-hour notice is required in order to receive a make-up lesson.
9. In case of sickness and emergency, notification through text, e- mail or phone call is required in order to receive a make-up lesson.
10. In case of lessons missed due to reasons other than the above stated in #9 and #10, a 24-hour notice is required in order to receive a make-up lesson.
11. Each student, once signed up will be given a Make-up Lesson Record Table for the above-mentioned 6 make-up lessons. Both instructor and student/ parents/ guardian will sign each time after a make-up lesson is given.
